    Cats On High

Rocketgirl shows yet again there is no place unsuitable for a cat to relax. They have much to teach us.

    Hulk 55 Preview

Next week is MAYAN RULE part 3 and the gods are getting angrier. And you know it’s a crucial part of the story because HOWLER MONKEYS appear. See the intro over at CBR.

    The Abominable Hardman

I used to enjoy the CBS Late Movie’s tendency to show The Abominable Dr. Phibes when I was a kid, and Gabriel Hardman did a really cool drawing of Phibes. The perfect Vincent Price role.

    Sad Samnee Separation

Today was a bummer, as it was Chris Samnee’s last day in the studio before moving back to the Midwest. It will sad not seeing him bring Daredevil and The Rocketeer to life right here in Portland. But good trip to your next home, Samnee family!

    Funny Books

I hate that I’m not at Heroes Con this weekend in Charlotte, NC, but glad to hear the famous art auction is going full force as always. Look at this terrific Snow White by Eric Canete that went for $3400!

Hardman and I Tell You What’s What

Josh Flanagan had Gabriel Hardman and I on iFanboy to talk about work process, and I really enjoyed it. Hulk 54 Preview

Here’s a CBR preview of Hulk 54 by me, Dale Eaglesham, Jesus Aburtov and Val Staples out this Wednesday. But where is Hulk in the Fall solicits you ask? Hey, maybe there’ll be an answer this week.

I hope all you dads and pops out there get to do something you like today. Or maybe more importantly, not have to go be involved with something you didn’t want to do, that’s the greatest gift a family can give the father. Like, he doesn’t really want to go wait in line for an [...]

    Eaglesham Q and A

Over at Marvel.com there’s a question session with HULK artist Dale Eaglesham, which we need more of- there’s just not enough artists being asked about their work. Dale has good stuff to say, check it out.
