  • Shiny New Rotors

Look, no one cares about scripts being available for download, what people want is pictures of car maintenance. And I need a break from reading through my old scripts for a few days. After I sent off a new script just this morning, I then did what I often do which is go deal with things around the house I’ve neglected. And the rear rotors on my car haven’t seen good contact with the brake pads in months, so I finally replaced those. I know a lot of people get them turned, but come on people, rotors don’t cost that much and they keep you from crashing into things. Buy new ones.

Tomorrow- fix a lamp. Replace gasket on other car. Toodle around aimlessly on bicycle.

I was so happy they weren’t rusted on- the last time I tried to do it on my little truck, I threw in the towel, I couldn’t get the things off.

I remember when my e-brake rusted closed on my old Beetle. My dad told me to hit it with a hammer (pretty much his solution to everything) and I was amazed that it worked like a charm.
