AGENTS OF ATLAS #0 is up at Marvel.com for you to read, gratis. Spread this around to people you think will like our book but haven’t stuck their toe in the water yet. Or on a forum where you hang out.

To go with that, here’s Craig Rousseau drawing Namora this past weekend in Charlotte, courtesy the collection of Robert Jewell- thanks Robert!

Kewlness. But, making a soldier watch his own vivisection? Maybe Spidey was wrong. Maybe they really are villains. Oh well, they’re interesting villains at least! :-D

Dammit, a Temugin scene and still no one gets exploded into gore! I wanna see him blootch somebody! Is Temmy gonna blootch somebody eventually? Seems criminal to have Temugin in a book and never have him blootch anybody. :-(

It’s that damn Jimmy Woo! He’s a total blootch-blocker! The blootch-blockage must stop! At least he should blootch some robots. Although blootching a robot would be more like spoom, wouldn’t it?
In all seriousness, I think Jeff intends Tem to be more of a political threat than about the blootching. It’s hard to buy Tem as a political threat, though, since the Mandarins are such thugs compared to the Yellow Claws.

If Yellow Claw wanted to, say, influence a senator, he’d arrange for the senator’s best friend to have a mistress, and have her influence the friend with pillow talk that would eventually lead to him influencing the senator.

If The Mandarin wanted to influence a senator, he’d shatter the door to the senator’s home with a karate-chop, turn the senator’s daughter into a bowl of mandarin chicken with his matter-rearranger-ring, and threaten to eat her if the senator doesn’t vote the way he wants.

Of course the book is about their heirs, but the same thing applies: Temugin is a thug, and about as much of a political threat to Jimmy Woo as a dog with rabies. He’s a joke character in any situation that can’t be solved by karate-chopping it really, really, really hard.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Venus looks just like Josie Maran?

I know, I’ve been badgering everyone for details of the show since! It looks like I will be able to make Baltimore this year though, are you going?
