  • Hangin’ In The Airport…

-waiting for my delayed flight to San Francisco. Luckily the Isotope MYSTERIUS party isn’t until tonight, but I’d hoped to stop by the Comics Art Museum and then set up at the shop to get some work done. Maybe I’ll get some done on the plane if the person in front of me doesn’t lean the seat back.

I just realized yesterday that AGE OF SENTRY 5 didn’t ship, and called Marvel to find out why. It seems there was an abundance of books going out and to cut down ours sat out until February 4th. No big deal since the book isn’t connected to current continuity events like AGENTS OF ATLAS, but still. I like to tout the relentless on-timeliness of all books I’m involved with.

Freaking United Air, charging me fifteen bucks for my one measly bag. I’m used to paying beyond the first bag on other airlines, but for one? I shall seek flight paths elsewhere.

Maybe I’ll try to Tweet the signing party tonight, or leave my computer open and trust punch-happy comics drunks to report for me. My Twitter handle is parkerspace, if you want to check. Nick Dragotta is supposed to drop by, I bet he doesn’t know our book didn’t ship and will walk over to see last month’s issue on the shelves, and say ‘aw.’ Wonder if Fowler will sell some Mysterius art? Wonder if people know the book exists?

Okay, I’m going to try to write some Atlas here in the airport. Have a superboss weekend…

*Waits for the issue where the Agents have to deal with something involving a delayed flight or at least an airport*

Guess I should have mentioned about Age of Sentry being delayed til the 4th. Yeah, a lot of books got hit due to the massive delays caused by New Years.

    Speaking of Agents of Atlas….

Do you know if the variant covers are going to be 50/50?

I’d love to get the team covers in addition to the regular ones.

Great first issue. Love the setup and the possibilities with Mysterius.

Fun read, man. I hope it continues for some time.
