Wolverine. Gorilla-Man. Che Guevara. Together at last.
Whoop, I’ve had my head down in this keyboard and just now noticed that they announced the Marvel Digital Serial, WOLVERINE: AGENT OF ATLAS thanks to new Blogger@Newsarama, Russ Burlingame.
Wolverine: Agent of Atlas
The jungles of Cuba, 1958: revolutionary forces work their way to overthrowing the government, while even stranger forces are at large. The FBI has sent Jimmy Woo’s secret team of paranormals, the Agents of Atlas, to investigate. The crack team gets more than they bargained for when they cross paths with the mysterious operative known only as “Logan!” This three part series debuts with a FREE first issue—available to subscribers and non-subscribers to Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited!

Jeff! How could you!?
Having Wolverine show up to sully the Agents of Atlas!!
I’m somewhat kidding. But still… ugh, I hate Wolverine guest appearances. But on the bright side, maybe it will attract even more interest in our beloved agents.
I do hope that the 3 issues will be released in floppy form at some point.

When Wolverine was first suggested I did have my initial rejection-response that I always do with him, but within thirty seconds it made perfect sense to me how they could interact- pretty naturally since it happens in the 50’s.
You get to see Ken Hale chest punch him, so it’s totally worth it!

I’m glad you have a rejection-response for Wolvie always at the ready.
But I see your point here. Plus as I said elsewhere, it is set in the past. Which means it’s going to be a less annoying version of Wolverine. And Ken Hale knocking Logan around? What more could you ask for!

Hey, anything that could serve to drum up more interest in AoA is good for me! Any samples of art form Benton Jew? I saw his name in the solicits for AoA # 1. Whenever I hear his name, I get thirsty for some odd reason.

Butch, Benton usually works on films and it’s hard to round up what comics work he’s done. But he’s in the Hulk Family special out this week, I think.

Well, a digital comic-book. Is new way for expansion AOA and good because you are the writer and no another. You had the control to play with characters.
I have a very important question Jeff: this comic-book will be included in the future in Agents of Atlas ongoing series or in trade paperback? The story of Wolverine had effects in AOA series?.
I question that because i have the GSMA Avengers, Spider-man Family 4 and SI: who do you trust?: all appareances of Agents of Atlas and i like continue buying this. Digital comics are good but i like also the paper version if it´s possible.
I will read the first free issue but i think the others are closed and must pay.
When i try to read Age of Sentry 1 Marvel said it are free but i only can see two pages. It is normal?
PD: At last, this month publish dark reign and the story of AOA.

why did you do that to Che? why did you make him a mind-controlled puppet… when Che is a revolutionary hero…. i think thats disrespectfully to everything he has done and stands for.

Wait… Che and Fidel weren’t influenced by mind-control bugs? I’ve got to stop using Wikipedia for my research!
Next someone’s going to tell me Jimmy Woo’s team didn’t rescue President Eisenhower from the Yellow Claw.
