  • Surprise Development: I Do An Interview

Kiel Phegley at Marvel.com tried to make my rambling make sense, but I just never come off well when answering questions on the phone. For instance- what am I even talking about here?

Jeff Parker: I appreciate it, too. [Laughs] What I’m interested in is starting in the next issue, little cracks start to come through the stories, and you start to get this weird second story happening, so I’m curious to see what everybody’s going to say. We played it pretty straight in the first one, but then you’re going to start getting some of the “Well, it’s the Sentry, and he’s crazy!”

Good luck decrypting me, Parkerologists of the early 21st Century. I spew more undecipherables, like this:

Jeff Parker: Yeah. We’re directly involved with it. It works surprisingly neatly into it, but I can’t tell you [more]. Obviously you saw the solicitation for the DARK REIGN: NEW NATION issue is classified. It’s like, “Who’s in this special?” Everybody assumed Agents of Atlas were in it because my name’s on it, [so] I guess I just let that one out. [Laughs]

WHAT THE HELL AM I TALKING ABOUT!!!???

    Hi Jeff:

I don´t think that you ask wrong the answers, only add more information and very clear. When i hear the interviews are very difficult to keep attention because the commentarist make very laughts and cut your explanation.

In a few weeks i can read Sentry, isn´t a shame that a comic-book USA don´t arrive to Europe in same week. Later you read good critics or your blog and think: when arrive? :)

I solicitate Dark Reign. If appear Agents of Atlas is good. If not, i had another Jeff Parker comic for my collection. Is more secure buy in this moment that stay for Tpb that don´t know if must publish in future.

For the people that say the danger of crossovers of Agents of Atlas, read SI who do you trust and they are the Agents and have sense. Well, Namora of Incredible Hulk/Herc is a little different of AOA.
One reason more: Peter David. Whe we worked for DC: Supergirl, Aquaman and Young Justice had a lot of crossovers but David change and adaptated for his stories very well.
I know that Jeff Parker could make it very well, he show this in SI special.

In the end of Interview you say the adventure online. Is the menace from space or is a new story?

Stay alert with Watcher Breevort!! :)

I’m totally down with the Agents meeting the rest of the Marvel U, especially since its a regular series anyway. These guys are basically brand new characters, meaning we’ve got a lot of first encounters to look forward to!

Also, I kinda like how they fill a niche in the Marvel U that no other property does. I guess they’re a “superteam,” but Woo definitely has an agenda.

What’s this about an online story? Will it be like the mini, with the online text stories?

I’ve already said too much! But no, there will be pictures.

    Jeff.
    Buddy.

You were all Walter Bishop there.

Maybe, and I’m just suggesting here, not that you should be paranoid or anything, but consider checking your toothpaste for LSD.
