A banished and aging Thor reminds me of the Douglas Adams book "Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul."

I can't think of Brian Blessed without thinking about the story Ricky Gervais told on the radio about Blessed's attempted climbing of Everest.

If I had several million dollars, I'd make a movie about a banished and aging Thor in a seaside retirement village in Norway, raising hell and SHOUTING. And it would star Brian Blessed.

If you can find it online, I highly recommend Brian Blessed's appearance on "The Ryan Tubridy Show."(Irish talk-show)

He co-opts the show in it's entirety! To paraphrase another classic show he appeared in, namely Blackadder; He got to where he is, not by hard work, and careful planning.....but BY SHOUTING!
