I can understand that as an artist you probably are seeking new challenges, and are maybe afraid of being pigeon holed as the old school Marvel super hero guy. I grew up in the 80s and was a die hard Marvel fan, but I just can’t get into the realistic, year long angst filled super hero stories that are being told at Marvel now. For folks like me, your work really means alot. You are a damned fine writer, and you make alot of people happy. Good to hear that you’re not gone for good, and I suppose that time not spent on the Avengers will be spent doing something else equally awesome. Whatever it is, chances are that I’ll be around. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Jay. I’ll probably keep poking in at it for an arc or so every now and then. I have a fear of becoming formulaic that makes me apprehensive with the done-in-ones lately.
