  • Why Graeme McMillan Must Read X-Men First Class #11

Because the artist he wanted on this book, NICK DRAGOTTA is BRINGING ON THE BAD GUYS.

This is no less than a Perfect Storm of sensibilities aligning to create the Most Important X-Men Story Ever. More pages can be seen at the recent Comic Book Resources interview with me and Fred Van Lente. When you read it, you will feel like you were in the Letterman audience the night TV ON THE RADIO first played the show.

Get your headphones and go listen to TV on the Radio on NPR.

Their insanely awesome unplugged version of Wolf Like Me is at about 10:20.

I’m crying manly tears of joy at that panel. Or is it…*gasp* a chunk of the cover? I can only hope to dream of such goodness.

It’s most of Page Two, “Canon” being the title of the story. That’s right, we’re throwing the gauntlet down!

Homes, is that classic Machine Man I see? My favorite purple robot in the whole wide world?!! I’m so happy.

Any time you make a Letterman reference I know we share a shard of a brain. Tell me when you plan a Crispin Glover/Letterman moment in the comic. :)
