Too Short Life
I can’t get a post in over at Newsarama, I assume their server is being slammed at the news of Steve Gerber’s death. I just wanted to say simply that he had an incredible mind and capacity to entertain, and I enjoyed the hell out of his work.
At the same time I heard the sad news that Stephane Peru also died this weekend. If you haven’t seen his work, he was an impressive colorist who worked often with his brother Olivier and recently colored for DC and Marvel. He was only in his twenties.
Once again, what can you say? I wish their families and friends the best.

Sad news, indeed. They will both be missed.

Like I said on CBR….
He’ll be missed. Hopefully with the recent announced delay to the Howard the Duck Omnibus, Marvel will consider using it to Memorialize the man. I wouldn’t mind seeing them donate some of the profits to his family either.
