  • Gamekeeper Talk

    t_gkseries21cov.jpg

Over at Newsarama, Zack Smith and I are chewing the fat about Guy Ritchie’s Gamekeeper from Virgin Comics- which can be ordered now, by the way. We also talk about upcoming Marvel work and Alec Baldwin. You’re too sleepy still to work, might as well go read it.

I will read this. Brock sounds like a mix of Alec Leamas and Thoreau. However, I haven’t read Diggle’s work on the series — how soon will they be collecting the first volume?

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a private detective. Things like this would happen and my mom would always say, “Some detective you are!”

    I like the interview

NRAMA: Also, Walk-In featured your both writing and drawing the final issue. Any plans to do some art for Gamekeeper?

JP: No, because it doesn’t have a talking bear with a rifle in it like the end of Walk-In did. If it did, I’d campaign to draw, but it just doesn’t work in with the story.

    BWAHAHAHA, very good

JP: Hey, I still don’t think that voicemail was that bad. I have a feeling they’re going to show up in an odd place. Things keep chaotically changing pertaining to their next big appearance. So if you’d like a new miniseries with them, it wouldn’t hurt to share that information with Marvel…

You have mi vote, AOA is a masterwork. I like to read more adventures of Jimmy, Bob, Venus, Namora, Ken and M-11. The number of Spider-man Family is a best comic and a perfect prologue for a future miniseries
