  • Chapel Hill Signing!

I’ll be in North Carolina next week, and if you can make it to the Triangle, I’ll be signing at the famous Chapel Hill Comics on Franklin Street. Come on over and fill the house, make people think UNC has a home game happening or something!

Sadly, I might be in the area due to a memorial service. Chapel Hill Comics is an awesome store though. I like the one across from NC State too, but the clerks are never friendly to me there.

I think you mean Foundation’s Edge. Oddly, I get along well with those guys.

Try and make it to Chapel Hill Comics — they just set up this big table with the giant WALT AND SKEEZIX and all sorts of big pretty awesomes.

(Sorry about the reason you’d be in the area, though. My condolences.)

Sorry to hear that, Eric. Still, it would be good to see you.

Also trapped at work, me. And closing on a new house the next day.

Are you coming to town to help me move?

Congrats on the house! Where is it?

Wherever the place near NC State is, it’s right beside a great Italian restaurant that serves garlic knots. And I probably shouldn’t disparage them online — I’ve only been there three times in my life, none in the last three years or so.

It’s in Cary! More house for the dollar. And, internet exclusive: Kid B is due in July.
An extra bedroom AND our driveway doesn’t empty onto the interstate any more. Kid B will be comfy and potentially way less flat. The stress of teaching Raymond to stay out of Wade Ave is best not repeated.

Containment area for relocated yankees? I went to the country club in Cary once for a wedding and met the worst kinds of people I could imagine.

But I just went to your site, Mr. Jarrell, and was blown away! The romance story with Bastion of Freedom was terrific!

I agree that Wade Avenue isn’t the optimum place for children to play, and that Sandy’s work “rulz.” Toth sent him free books once!

    Thanks, guys!

I kinda can’t believe the Cary thing myself. I’m figuring it’ll just make me stronger.

I was going to ask about a Toth influence, but then I realized I see a Toth influence in all of my favorite artists, both of you guys included. I wonder if it’s real or imagined.

Have fun, Jeff. Sadly, we’ll be two ships passing. I’ll be in Durham Saturday.
