I was told, when I got to IU, not to see Breaking Away, as the way they filmed, it showed streets all jumbled up and contradictory to the way they really run. Re: Tommy Lee...I had a fellow TA in grad school whose childhood home was being rented by a film crew for a movie, and Jones was staying at her house. It's too long to get into the way the filmmakers screwed with geography, but I will say that Tommy Lee Jones can see the waterfalls at Oregon City while he's standing on the shores of Ross Island, and that's pretty darned impressive.
