  • Mystic Arcana

I don’t know that there is a good way to transition out of important talk into my usual BS, but here goes. I see at the Make Mine Marvel site, Uatu has a preview of Mystic Arcana #3 where Juan Santacruz and I took on the young Scarlet Witch story. This is coming out next month, I think. THIS WEEK, thanks to the Shipping Knowledge of Spencer Curran. It was fun to work with the little used occult characters of Marvel past.

Let’s see … a “Mystic Arcana” issue, a new “Marvel Adventures Avengers” AND “X-Men: First Class?” An embarrassment of riches for all of us Parker-fans. And again, my LCS let me peruse that latter issue, and it only gets better as it goes. More Colleen Coover goodness … yay!

Jeff, I just wanted to say I grabbed the first issue of X-Men: First Class on a whim when I was in my LCS last week (my parents gave me a $29 gift cert. for my 29th birthday), and I really enjoyed it. I have a soft spot for the original five X-Men and that issue hit the all the right notes. Thanks for giving my comics a little fun.
