The Pictures Keep Coming…
Another former Artamusian, Craig Gilmore, has put up some excellent pictures of Mike with his thoughts over at his blog. Craig was even Mike’s roommate at two apartments in the 90′s. Hey Craig, remember all those trashbags you kept leaving at the backdoor storage instead of walking them to the dumpster? I do! Mike having to haul all that out of there gave me a long, mean-spirited laugh for weeks. And I can’t stop thinking about the time Chuck W. alluded to in Comments, when I was visiting Mike and Craig one day and answered the phone for them. It was a repo man, or assistant, calling to stall everyone while the tow truck outside hauled away the car of their other artist roommate at the time. We looked out the window in time to have another big laugh.

On a happier note, Jeff, I re-read the entire “Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four” mini this week and enjoyed it immensely … even if it made me pretty misty. Mike definitely went out on a high note with that. So there’s that, I suppose.
Also, on a sidenote, my LCS let me browse the preview copy of next week’s “X-Men: First Class,” and that book only gets better as it goes. And … more Colleen Coover. Yay!
