Return of the Imp

Confused like Ben is? Then hobble by your comics shop and pick up the final installment of Spider-Man/Fantastic Four by me and Mike Wieringo to see what’s up with the Impossible Man. Because there’s a LOT up with him. Coincidentally, I finally saw Spider-Man 3 last night (remember, I have little kids and don’t get to theatres around bedtime normally). I say coincidentally, because that plot had more coincidences to keep it moving than I’ve seen in a long time. Maybe I’ll rant some tomorrow, as if no one has already. But there were some impressive visuals that I’ve logged in my head for reference.
Once you’re done reading that comic, you can jet quickly out to the Portland area to attend the panel tonight with me, Douglas Wolk and Steve Lieber. This should be fun since Douglas is going to leave immediately after the thing to begin the tour for his new book, Reading Comics. See you there, bring books to sign since I was so hard to find in San Diego.

Yeah I’m looking forward to a run in with Douglas on his leg of the tour at the Rocketship in Brooklyn.

Loved the final issue of Spider-Man/Fantastic Four.
I miss stories like this. Fun team-up books that is light on angst.
Jeff Parker is one of the masters of Marvel right now, hopefully soon he’ll get a core book… preferrably X-Men.

The Two-In-One is Marvel Adventures: The Avengers #2 and X-Men: First Class #2. I’m getting it to catch up on the MA issues I missed. Since I didn’t used to follow the book.
