I think I might sit and read Thomas Paine’s Common Sense today, in honor of the occasion!

After reading Common Sense hunt up a copy of The Trouble with Tom by Paul Collins. It is about what happened to his bones and is filled with good Paine stories. Just read it last weekend.

Sorry for the double post, but my son just read me Marvel Adventures Avengers #14. His reading was animated and featured an ace ‘HULK SMASH!’ as well as appropriate sound effects for all the action. The comic was good, but seeing it as a solo theatrical production, compete with a rerun of all the action bits made it brilliant. Thanks!

How about Brett’s kid reading Common Sense? I can hear him all shouting ” Our corn will fetch its price in any market in Europe!” Seriously, I wish I had video of him reading Avengers, that’s just awesome.

A little thank-you to France as well for making sure that England couldn’t devote all her energies to holding on to the Colonies.
