He’ll set the oceans on fire! Then what?
Man if this pans out… it seems too good to believe. Hopefully the TV station he owned wasn’t coincidentally the one who did this piece. But we’ll have to name a state after this guy if so. Thanks to artist Steve Scott for passing this on.
**Apologies if you have Firefox and can’t see the YouTube video. I don’t know what the deal is. Here’s the url then.
**Updatey- Now that I’ve had a minute to look around, I see lots of people jumping all over the guy and yelling about how it probably takes more energy than you can get out of it. Probably so, but why do people have to be so eager to stomp on any attempt to change the energy status quo? Like we can’t at least look hard at it and see if there’s anything useful in what happened. I still see people attacking solar power all the time, complaining that it takes energy to make the panels.
I admit I’m a ridiculous optimist (come on, look at how I make a living), but I don’t think the day of garage inventors is completely over. And I just want to see us stop using oil in my lifetime.

Scott Adams (Dilbert) solved the energy crisis in his blog today. Pretty interesting idea…

In a hundred years this guy should be known as Kranzius I. The man who brought people into a clean energy utopia while curing cancer. You can’t make stuff like this up.

totally agree with you on all points there, Jeff. And I’m not having a problem viewing videos through Firefox and I have an Apple too.
