Why am I suddenly not Johnny-on-the-spot with my Comments replies? Because we have no internet access in our new studio! (Which looks great and I’ll put pictures up soon.) But silly us, we thought moving up two floors in the same building would make switching over our existing phone service a snap. Not so, once the Qwest guy shows up, fresh off a bender. He can’t figure out how to make a line connect to the basement and tries to dissuade us with the 120 bucks an hour fee and “no telling how long it would take.” So he suggested we CALL ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER. So I’m guessing he doesn’t work on commission. We tried to have another Qwest person sent out, but they managed to track him down again on the phone so he could say it was nearly hopeless. Despite the fact that the previous suite tenants, the Better Business Bureau, obviously did have phones and the internet. We’ve been rejoicing about having an office with actual windows now, but I thought Steve Lieber was going to jump out of one of them around midday.

Any of you in the Northwest, and have suggestions on some provider who actually likes to have more income? It’s kind of a cornerstone of our operation…
