  • Proceed to Checkout, Amazon Slave-Man

Regular poster and comics news writer Zack just had to tip me off to that sweet deal on the Planet of the Apes Legacy Collection.

And then while I’m logged into Amazon, I remember “hey, I never got Ed Wood on dvd.” Bam. Hey, we don’t have Peter Pan…Bam. Casino Royale! Bam. And The Third Man Criterion edition. Bam. Then I start looking through what else Criterion has out. Luckily my willpower finally kicked back in while I was grappling with whether to order Monsters and Madmen, with that sweet Darwin Cooke cover. But I know that one will be cheaper later, and that hesitation lets me regain control and get out just before breaking the hundred dollar mark. Thanks a lot, Zack.

Is the Alex Gordon on the book the late 50′s/60′s B-movie producer? The titles are of or similar to movies from AIP I think.

I’m still holding out for the Caesar head boxed set to go well below 10% off!

It’s so tempting to burn through your wallet on Amazon. My wish list is full of the Warner Bros. classic movies and Criterion discs. Just (finally) picked up the 2-disc set of Casablanca, and the 3-disc Maltese Falcon is calling me.
