  • Drop Me Some Science

First, appropo to nothing, all the bumbling-around mischief during my teenage years would have been avoided if YouTube was around then along with this series on how to build a mini Sherman Tank.

But on to the real reason I’ve called you all here today. I was just shaving out some bloglinks where no one has updated in years, and other sad ones where abandoned sites have been turned into referrer linkfarms. And I’m way down on science-related blogs from where I started. Either science fans have been throwing in the towel, or moving when I wasn’t looking. So do you have any science blogs you’d like to recommend? I’ll probably do a cattle call for some other categories later, but today it’s all science.
    Pleeease.

Not even one? Maybe a blog that says the word ‘science’?

I love science, but I hate blogs. (Even yours, you lemming.) But Google is your friend:

I mean, really, what better science blog can you get than Science Blog?

Added. I know it’s a science blog, but man, could they just try to make it look like a human had something to do with it? Just a little picture of a planet or a nerd up in the banner?

Here’s a post detailing this award site’s “Best Science Blog” http://2006.weblogawards.org/2006/12/best_science_blog.php

The Science department at St. Pius X Catholic High School asked me to take a year off from science (I was that clueless) my junior year back in 1984, so maybe I’m not the best guy to ask…

That leads to a good batch of them, thanks!

Perhaps the nuns were afraid of what madness you would do with the science at your disposal…

I’m a pediatrician and my wife was a biology major at MIT…so if you have medical or biology questions, we can try to answer them.

I wish the authors of The Science of Superheroes, Lois H. Gresh and/or Robert Weinberg, had a blog, but alas they do not.
