  • The Nabakov One’s The Best.

Via BOING BOING via COOP I just read this Drew Friedman piece from the New York Observer, Guilty Pleasures of Literary Greats. Pretty tame stuff by Friedman standards, but it’s written with someone else. I’ve been meaning to do a post on Friedman at some point, but it will put me in the awkward position of having to admit which of his works I’ve enjoyed so much, and of course it’s always the ones in horrible, horrible taste. So I’m making a mental note to get to that within the next two months.

The HL Mencken panel’s the one that gets to me- that smaller font when he sings the second line, good god.
